Join the internationally acclaimed cartoonist, author, illustrator, and descendant, Michel Kichka, for an intimate conversation at the Toronto Holocaust Museum. In his work, Kichka explores inherited tragedies and secrets and how the Holocaust overshadowed his life.

 

Hear from Kichka about the process of writing Second Generation: The Things I Didn’t Tell My Father, how he explores themes of intergenerational trauma and memory in his work, and what it means to create this work today in Israel. 

 

This program is intended for children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors.
