Join the Toronto Holocaust Museum for an inspiring evening of connection and reflection with Holocaust survivors and community members. Together, we will honour and preserve the tradition of making challah, the Shabbat braided egg bread, and connect with the rich history of prewar Jewish life. Led by Bonnie Stern and Anna Rupert, the mother-daughter cookbook co-authors of Don’t Worry, Just Cook who make challah together every week and have taught countless others to do the same. Participants will assemble the dough and braid their challah interspersed with reflections on the place and continuity of Jewish food traditions in our modern lives.

Register now to take advantage of early bird pricing. Ticket price will go up on Sunday, January 21 to $36.

Tickets intended for ages 12+, all skill levels and backgrounds welcome.
