Holocaust survivor, Nobel Peace Prize laureate, acclaimed author, and global voice of conscience—Elie Wiesel was a towering figure in the fight for memory, justice, and human rights. Best known for his memoir Night, Wiesel dedicated his life to ensuring the world never forgets the horrors of the Holocaust.
Join the Toronto Holocaust Museum and the Toronto Jewish Film Foundation for the Toronto Premiere of Elie Wiesel: Soul on Fire (2024, 87 minutes, English with subtitles), a powerful new documentary that explores Wiesel’s extraordinary life and enduring legacy.
Through rare archival footage, personal interviews, and Wiesel’s own words, the film offers an intimate and deeply human portrait of the man behind the legacy—a story of resilience, compassion, and unwavering moral courage.
Director Oren Rudavsky will join us remotely for a Q&A following the screening.
